Featured in: Leica Camera Nordics' Community Exhibition
This year, I had the incredible opportunity to exhibit my work for the first time, after submitting three images to an open call for a community exhibition at the Leica Nordics Store in Copenhagen.
I was fortunate to be selected from hundreds of submissions to have my image displayed alongside twelve other amazing photographers. This exhibition is part of Leica’s ongoing series celebrating their community of creators.
I attended the opening event and had the chance to reconnect with friends, meet new faces, and experience firsthand how much Leica values its community. The evening was a reminder of the company’s dedication to fostering growth, inspiration, and collaboration among photographers.
Seeing my work in print, showcased for the public, was a deeply moving experience. It has made me more intentional about my photography—considering not only the stories I want to tell but also which images work best for prints and exhibitions.
The image selected for Leica’s community exhibition captures a scene in Berlin, taken in a subway station with my trusty Leica M6 paired with Cinestill 800T film. It’s a moment that resonates with me, and now, seeing it on display, it feels even more alive.
Being part of this exhibition has been a milestone in my journey as a photographer and a reminder of the power of community. It’s inspiring to see so much talent from across the Nordic region celebrated in one space, and I feel proud to contribute my vision to it.
Huge thanks to Lucan Carter, Store Manager, and the team at Leica Camera Nordics for this opportunity.
The exhibition will be on display from 6 February 2026 to 16 May 2026 at Leica Store Copenhagen | Ny Østergade 3 | 1101 København.
Don’t forget to stop by and experience it in person!
